EdX and TestDen are 2 very different test prep services. TestDen has been offering its TOEFL course since 1997, and has focused on only helping students who are taking English language assessment exams. The younger edX, on the other hand, offers 2,500+ online courses in a wide variety of subjects.

TestDen’s TOEFL prep course costs only $129 and provides a speaking and writing review plus 180 days of course access. EdX’s TOEFL prep course is completely FREE, but includes only 6 weeks of access—4x less time.
